Summer/Fall 2007

What could be better than investing in your health, keeping more money in your pocket, and improving the air quality in our area? Being rewarded for it! That is the idea behind our new six-month contest called the “Share the Ride Challenge” starting June 1, 2007.

Commuters in Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York, we challenge you to share the ride by carpooling, vanpooling or using public transportation.

Prizes include: a digital camera, an iPod, a Palm Pilot, a weekend getaway for two, or a "Night Out" package that includes movie tickets, dinner for two, and more!

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) National Weather Service urge Americans to "Be Air Aware" during Air Quality Awareness Week, April 30-May 4, 2007.
